I am a Germany-born, California-raised lifestyle and portrait photographer based in Westlake Village, CA.

I love capturing authentic moments and telling stories through my images, may that be of a mama & her baby, a restauranteur working on opening her 3rd restaurant, a homeless outreach program making their rounds, or a group of friends hiking up the local mountain at golden hour.

 

I’m a mom to two littles, a daughter and son. I try to spend as much time outdoors as possible and love traveling and exploring new places, both near and far. In my free time, you'll find me hanging out with my husband and kids in the garden, paddle boarding, kayaking, hiking or horseback. When we can, we take off in our self-converted van and hit the road in search of a new adventure. To me, there's nothing better than being able to capture those adventures in photos and have a little glimpse of those times to hold onto forever.

I spent many years as the Editor-in-Chief and head photographer for Malibu Magazine. While I will always relish my time with the magazine, nowadays I’m happy for a slower pace at home with my family and I love nothing more than this season of life filled with belly laughs, tiny hands holding mine, and lots of toddling around.
